The Job Security Score gives you a 0–100 signal for a type of job, based on how much of the work is currently exposed to AI and automation.
Higher score = more of the work still needs a person.
Lower score = the field is changing faster.

Is a high score a guarantee that my job is safe?
No. It means the occupational category currently has relatively lower AI exposure. Economic conditions, company decisions, regulation, outsourcing and many other things can still affect employment.
Does a low score mean the job will disappear?
No. It means more of the work is exposed to change. The job may shrink, evolve, split into different roles, or require a different skill mix.
Why doesn't seniority change the score?
Because this score measures the occupation, not the individual. Seniority still affects which roles SPAISE shows you, but it does not change the security number.
Does salary affect it?
No. Job Security Score is not a salary score. Highly paid work can be exposed to automation. Lower-paid work can be difficult to automate. Technology has apparently not agreed to respect compensation bands.
Why does country affect the score?
SPAISE applies a small regional adjustment because AI adoption currently differs between markets. The adjustment is limited to ±5 so geography does not overwhelm the nature of the occupation itself.
How often should I check it?
Whenever you are considering a move, noticing major changes in your profession, or deciding what skills to invest in next. The point is not to watch the number like a stock price. The point is to notice when the direction of your work is changing.
